Well..since I'm not working now and concentrating on school , but of course not every second, what am I supposed to fill my time with, SEWING. Yes, I've been sewing my ass off. I've been making pillows, making cell phone covers to put in my Etsy store, and yes, more pillows. Did I mention pillows already? Oh yeah...I guess I did. I think I chose pillows because it doesn't take as long to make than a regular quilt does. Here are a few that I've made. I was going to post them on Etsy, but we needed some "homey-goodness" in the home. The next project will be to do a wall quilt that looks like a window with flowers.

So....in getting with the whole idea that Spring is right around the corner, even though there is still snow on the ground...I've taken up a project of planting seedlings. Now, let me tell ya.... I've done everything but nurse these things to get them to grow and be strong. They got cold...I turned the heater on them, yes, from a distance, but they were cold. Richard went out and bought some grow lights for me which was so sweet of him to do. I'll continue to take pictures to show how things are going with them. It's so exciting!! I've never done this before so I'm all "cool!!! Do people do this every year??? Look what I've been missing out on. " When flowers become apparent, I think I might name each one....yes...all 72 of them.

So...once again I'm blogging. I love to write, but the part I don't like is choosing a blog template that actually WORKS. The one I wanted is giving me a hard time, and I'm trying to fix that. I wish I knew how to make my own template. Of course, if I knew how to do that, I wouldn't get anything done around here.
